3 Steps To Feeling Happier In Yourself
We all get bad days where we just wish we could hide under the bed covers and not come out. When you are struggling with spots and acne it can sometimes begin to feel that everyday is like that. The mood can almost get to the point where you feel it is eating away at you and no end is in sight.
At the worst point in my acne and spot induced depression, it was almost like I had forgotten how to feel happy. Nothing I did seemed to relieve the tension that was so tightly wound inside me, I honestly thought that a brief moment of happiness might never arrive.
So read my 3 steps to feeling happier in yourself (even with those damn spots and acne)
Step 1 – Go For A Walk
Most people don’t know that taking a walk (even a short one) will help you feel better. Not only will it get you out from your bed covers it will boost your energy levels and help you feel on top of the world. When you are feeling run down it’s even more beneficial to you – you get to experience the beauty of the countryside (if you can get there) or meet up with someone who shares your enjoyment for it.
Step 2 – Get Yourself A Hobby
When you suffer with spots and acne and feel that it is starting to impinge on your life, it’s time to take your mind off it for a while. A hobby will help you do this no end. It can be anything from stamp collecting through to kite flying and anything in the middle. Really throw yourself into it and you will quickly notice that you spend more time thinking about that than you do about your spots!
Step 3 – Take Action
I actually use these words myself in my work everyday. I know that I have to take action before I will earn any money. I work for myself, so if I don’t I’m soon going to start going hungry! If you sit around getting deeper and deeper into a desperate state over your spots and acne, you are soon going to let it spiral further out of control! Some things just need you to take some small steps to see BIG results. Read ‘My Solution To Spots And Acne’ page and see if it wouldn’t help you get started.
I really hope that you can take something with you from this post. It might sound like simple techniques to some whilst others might feel a little overwhelmed by them. Small steps really can lead to massive change – I’m living proof of that!
